CAMIDAX

Straight answers before release.

CAMIDAX is ambitious, but the public site should not make visitors guess what exists today, what requires cloud services or what is still planned.

Can I download CAMIDAX today?

No public download is available. Private Windows development builds exist, but access remains approval-only while installation, updates, security and account behavior are validated.

What does “local-first” mean?

Core household workflows are designed to operate through owner-controlled devices and explicit permissions. Optional cloud features—including cloud AI providers—still require network transmission and their own privacy terms.

Which operating systems are supported?

Windows 10 and Windows 11 are the current desktop development targets. Android, iPhone, tablet, TV and broader device support are planned and should not be treated as currently available.

Is CAMIDAX a remote-desktop application?

Remote access is one subsystem. CAMIDAX also combines device identity, storage, media, transfers, health, security, updates and Forge into one command model.

Does Forge run every action automatically?

No. Forge is intended to verify goals, explain consequential actions and remain behind deterministic permissions and approval gates. The owner remains in control.

Does CAMIDAX replace Plex, Parsec, Synology or Tailscale?

CAMIDAX borrows from broad categories those products serve, but it is not claiming complete feature parity or a drop-in replacement. Its differentiator is one household authority and interface model across multiple workflows.

How much will it cost?

Final pricing and tiers have not been published. CAMIDAX will not advertise a price until the deliverable features and account experience for that tier are defined.

Can I request development access?

Yes. Submit the contact form or use account registration. A request does not guarantee approval, support or access to every subsystem.

Has CAMIDAX completed an independent security audit?

No independent production security audit is claimed. Security hardening and release certification remain active work.
